Dementia care is complex. I help you make sense of it all.
When families work with me, they walk into every appointment with a plan so the person they love is protected, comfortable, and treated with dignity to the very end.
Dementia is one of the most complex and most poorly supported conditions in the entire medical system. Families are left to figure it out alone. Most of them do. They don't have to.
I've spent over a decade working inside every setting families navigate when dementia is part of the story: memory care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, and rehabilitation centers. I've made the calls, asked the hard questions, and found the path forward in situations where no one else could.
I started Maine Dementia Partners because people living with dementia deserve dignity, stability, and protection from avoidable harm. And the families who love them deserve a guide who has been on the front lines of care.

Common Questions
- How quickly will I hear back?
- Marjorie typically reaches out within one business day. If your situation is urgent, please mention that in the form, and we will prioritize scheduling.
- Do you accept insurance?
- No. Maine Dementia Partners is a private-pay practice. Many families find that good guidance prevents far costlier crises — even one avoided ER visit or hospitalization often pays for months of support.
- Where do you work with families?
- Across Maine and beyond. Most consultations are held via Zoom or phone, making us accessible to long-distance caregivers. In-home visits are available within driving distance in southern and central Maine.
- Is this medical care?
- No. Maine Dementia Partners is a consultation and care navigation service. We work alongside your loved one's existing medical team, not in place of them.
