Effective date: December 1, 2024  ·  Last updated: May 7, 2026

Who we are

Maine Dementia Partners, LLC ("we", "us", "our") is a private dementia care consultation practice owned and operated by Marjorie Hunt, NP, and based in the State of Maine. This privacy policy describes how we handle information submitted through our website at mainedementia.com.

Maine Dementia Partners provides consultation and care navigation services. We do not provide primary medical care and are not acting as a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when you submit information through this website.

What information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, and a small amount of information collected automatically when you use the site.

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, and phone number submitted through our consultation request forms.
  • Optional details about your situation that you choose to share in form comment fields.
  • Information you share over the phone, by email, or in scheduled consultations once you become a client. That information is governed separately by our client engagement agreement, not by this website privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors view and how they navigate the site. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect IP-derived approximate location, browser, and device information. We have IP anonymization enabled.
  • Advertising: We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These services may use cookies and pixel images to track which advertisements led to a website visit or a contact form submission.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider records standard web request logs (timestamp, IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained on a rolling basis and are not used for marketing.

How we use information

  • To respond to consultation requests and schedule discovery calls.
  • To deliver the services you request and to communicate about your engagement.
  • To measure and improve the performance of our website and our advertising.
  • To comply with our legal obligations, including responding to valid legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact information with marketing partners or data brokers.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the website and the practice. These include:

  • Google (Analytics and Ads) for traffic measurement and ad performance.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook Pixel) for ad performance.
  • Google Workspace and Google Apps Script for processing form submissions and managing email correspondence.
  • Our website hosting provider for delivering the site to your browser.

We may disclose information when required by law, by valid legal process, or when necessary to protect our rights, the rights of our clients, or the safety of any person.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel for the purposes described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or to be notified before one is set. Refusing cookies may affect some site functionality but will not prevent you from submitting a consultation request.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can adjust ad personalization preferences at Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your request and to maintain a record of our communication. If you do not become a client, we will delete or anonymize submitted information on request. If you become a client, your records are retained per applicable Maine professional and clinical record-keeping standards.

Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what information we have about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information we are not legally required to retain, or stop contacting you. To make any of these requests, email marjorie@mainedementia.com or call 207.531.5331.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adult family members and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.
