I’m Marjorie, and I started this company because there is a real gap between the information that exists about dementia and knowing what to do with it. There are a lot of good resources out there. What almost none of them do is help you take that information and apply it to the exact situation sitting in front of you. That translation is where I come in, and it’s where things change.

I’ve spent more than a decade in geriatrics, most of it in rehab. That means I read the discharge summaries coming out of the hospital and then met the person they were written about, along with their family, in the days after. I have been the provider in the room when the hardest decisions get made. I’ve gone to court to protect a patient’s rights when they could no longer make decisions for themselves. I’ve called state agencies, coordinated with hospice, stopped procedures that were causing harm, corrected medication errors, and stayed in the picture long after other providers had moved on. I’ve worked alongside geriatric psychiatrists and geriatricians, and I know the behavioral symptoms of advanced dementia well, the ones that leave families and care teams genuinely unsure what to do next.

The families I worked with have been my greatest teachers. They showed me when the things I know actually help, and what relief looks like when it finally arrives.

So now I’m bringing it directly to you. I teach through stories, because stories are how this knowledge becomes usable. I’ll give you concrete language for raising a concern with a memory care facility. I’ll show you how the regulations work and how to move around inside them. I’ll help you ask the questions that get real answers, so the big decisions in front of you have some direction to them.

I live in rural Maine with my husband, my two boys, our dog, and one very sassy cat. When I’m not working you’ll find me outside in the woods, watching birds, reading, or cooking.
